Wonder Woman Wednesday – “The Last Witch Hunt”

It’s Halloween, and the Amazon Princess is pressed into partying with Steve Trevor, Etta Candy, and the rest of the Holliday girls.  Everything starts innocently enough with a witch’s ride through the night air courtesy of Wonder Woman’s invisible plane, and a rather unique variation on bobbing for apples, but then Holliday girl Faith Alden accidentally triggers Paula Von Gunther’s time machine and traps all of them in a dangerous past.

It’s now 1692 during the Salem witch trials, and when a local boy accuses Faith of being a witch, everyone is in danger of being executed.  Even Wonder Woman falls victim to the Puritan witch hunters and gets placed in stocks, but a timely save by Steve frees Wonder Woman and allows her to work her magic on their overzealous captors, forcing the boy to tell the truth and inexplicably convincing everyone to halt any further witch trials.
