FLASH COMICS #39, March 1943. “Play of the Year” Cover Artist: Sheldon Moldoff  A stage production with returning old-time actors draws criminal attention, and soon thugs employed by a shady businessman are competing with the legitimate theater producer to sign the stars and make money for themselves.  When The Flash Foils their plan and the play goes on, the crooks infect the cast with measles to sabotage the production.  Now the Fastest Man Alive has to tread the boards himself, acting every part entirely on his own in order to save the day.  Other features star Hawkman and Hawkgirl, Johnny Thunder, Ghost Patrol, the King, and the Whip.
