Wonder Woman Volume I, No. 25, September 1947 – Let’s Sneak a Peek!
Wonder Woman teams with Etta and the Holliday Girls to devise a machine that can defeat the alien plant menace of Rykornian King Tassel and Lord Cob, and battles the Purple Princess, whose crimes include kidnapping the Zarkian King’s daughter and brainwashing Wonder Woman herself.
In the issue’s middle story, atomic scientist Alton Dearfield and wife Myrna adopt an orphan named Teasy, but ther entire family is endangered when Dearfield’s secret formula is obtainedby the Yellow-Mask Gang with the help of Dearfield’s own assistant, Mal Stone. Dollly Madison is profiled as one of the “Wonder Woman of History.”
