Superman & Lois Lane MARRIED?!!

Superman & Lois Lane MARRIED?!!

The Marriage is NOT a HOAX!  Read on fans….

SUPERMAN’S GIRL FRIEND, LOIS LANE Vol.1, No.15, February 1960; Cover Art:Curt Swan, Stan Kaye; Writer: Otto Binder; Penciler: Kurt Schaenberger; Inker: Kurt Schaenberger

The cover assures us that the marriage “is not a HOAX!” But let’s be honest, we know there’s a twist coming, and that is indeed the case in this “3-part novel.” First, the Man of Steel robs ancient tombs to give Lois rare and beautiful gifts, then flies her to a remote island where they’re married by a native chieftain. Next, they settle in to a modest suburban home on Venus, where – separated from her career and everyone she knows – he regularly abandons her to fly off on missions.

Their twins, Lyle and Lili, also possess powers, and soon, so does Lois, thanks to a super-serum. But when Lois sees Superman kiss Lana Lang back on Earth, everything unravels, as does the tale. You see, it isn’t Superman and Lois at all, but Kal-El’s Kandorian relative, Van-Zee, and Earth heiress Sylvia DeWitt, who return to the bottle city in wedded bliss!
