Brand New Wall Calendar Format!

Our new re-designed 2018 wall calendar layout is 9 inches by 13 inches and opens to 9 by 26 inches. Although it is a little bit smaller than in years past, this fresh new design has almost the same amount of grid space for writing important dates and family holidays as our older 11 inch by 15 inch calendar. In fact, there is less than 1/4 inch difference between the two calendar grid sizes. And of course, you’ll be able to separate, accentuate, and decorate as all 12 months come perforated and frame-ready!

The Re-Design

Please understand that we did not take the decision to re-design lightly. This was the result of several months of prototyping and trying out several different sizes. We feel like our new size format still provides a larger grid page than the average calendar, and still includes a larger image. One thing of note is that we have used the same great materials, the same thick, luxurious paper as always, and believe it or not — the grid page spaces have only decreased by a fraction of an inch, and the monthly images have only decreased by 1/2 inch.

The Eco-Friendly Part of the design 

Since 2007 we have been pushing for sustainability by offering dated products that wouldn’t negatively impact the earth. Our calendars can be reused, kept, or recycled instead of ending up in landfills year after year. This new size allows us to offer the same amount of space for writing but saves on paper and therefore trees.

Since the birth of Asgard Press 10 years ago, a lot has changed in the online shopping and shipping industry. Today there are tons of packages and too much waste. I’m sure you have noticed how much your recycling bin fills up after your weekly online shopping boxes arrive. We wanted to make sure we were shipping our calendars with as little waste and packaging possible. Our old, larger calendar size could not fit in a low waste envelope and most of the time had to be shipped in oversized boxes. Our new size creates less waste, lowers shipping costs, and takes up less space on the truck, saving room for other packages and saving money on gas.
