ANDY’s Weekly College Football Contest: WIN A 2020 Vintage Calendar of your choice! IT’S WEEK 10: Details inside…
Week #9 Winner Announced. Weekly 5 Game Pick ‘Em Week #10 Games Are Ready!
Welcome Back College Football Fans! Every week for the remainder of the 2019 College Football season, you’ll have a chance to win a NEW 2020 Asgard Press Vintage Wall Calendar of your choice. All you have to do is pick who you believe will be the winner of the 5 weekly games featured (below). Each week I will give my take on one game that stands out amongst the 5.

Andy
I’ll also add which team I think will win each game as well in case you want to use my expertise as a guide for your picks, HA! Person with the most correct picks THAT HAS MORE WINS THAN ANDY (That’s ME by the way) is our winner and will be announced every Thursday on the blog (If there is a tie, a random drawing will determine the winner). If nobody beats Andy, nobody wins. Don’t be alarmed as Andy is not Jimmy The Greek. A new set of games will be posted every week right up to and including bowl games and the BCS Championship. Lastly, it’s FREE to enter so there ain’t no catch – just some fun to be had and a chance to win.. All picks must be left in the comment section where it says “LEAVE A REPLY” and entered before kickoff of all games to be counted (one entry per person only*) – just scroll all the way down to the very bottom to enter your picks. THAT’S IT!
Before we get to the Week #9 Picks, it’s time to announce the winner of week #9: Our winner this week is Kim L., from Cartersville, Georgia. Kim was tied with Adrian J with 4 wins and won the random drawing – Congrats Kim! Kim chose the 2020 Vintage Georgia Bulldogs calendar as his prize (above). As usual I had a bad week at 2-3 so remember – PICK OPPOSITE OF WHAT I PICK! After 9 weeks, my record stands at a truly crappy 30 – 45, yikey. Let’s proceed to my Pick of the Week and Game 1 on the docket… WE ARE INCLUDING THE SPREAD (Not straight up wins-losses) SO CHOOSE WISELY and GOOD LUCK! ANDY’S PICK OF THE WEEK …
GAME 1 : #2 LSU (8-0) @ #3 Alabama (8-0) – 6 : Biggest game of the year to date without question. Another game on paper that is almost identical in all offensive and defensive categories. 2 Strong Heisman Candidates. One hard nosed player’s coach with a loveable personality and one legendary coach with a stern system of just winning and home field advantage. Andy’s Pick: ALABAMA
GAME 2: #4 Penn State (8-0) @ #17 Minnesota (8-0) + 6.5 : The Nittany Lions have 2 wins over top ranked teams. While the Gophers run has been impressive, they just haven’t had a test like Penn State. BUT….they’ll cover at home! Andy’s Pick: GOPHERS
Game 3: #16 Kansas State (6-2) @ Texas (5-3) – 7 : Wildcats defeat powerhouse Oklahoma and TCU in back-to-back weeks. Texas loses to powerhouse Oklahoma and TCU 2 weeks later. Seems obvious, right? Right. K-State getting 7 points too. Andy’s Pick: WILDCATS
Game 4: #19 Wake Forest (7-1) @ Virginia Tech (5-3) + 2.5 : Lame to say but yes, Wake is Woke! Who saw a Top 20 ranking coming? Nobody. But for a 3 point heartbreaker against Louisville, they’d be unbeaten. Will tough-tough momentum destroying loss for the Hokies vs Notre Dame after big OT win against the Tar Heels carry over in Blacksburg tomorrow? No. Va-Tech rebounds. Andy’s Pick: VIRGINIA TECH
Game 5: #18 Iowa (6-2) @ #13 Wisconsin (6-2) – 9 : It’s been a tough few weeks for Wiscy. Shocking loss to Illinois and then a golden opportunity turned nightmare against Ohio State. Hawkeyes rebound nicely after two hard fought close losses to ranked Michigan and Penn State teams with 2 straight wins. While I do think the Badgers won’t lose 3 straight, 9 points is too many to give Herky and his Hawks. Andy’s Pick: IOWA
That’s it folks. Be sure to enter your picks in the comment section. One entry per person. See all of our 2020 Vintage Collegiate Football Calendars HERE and all of our Vintage Pop Culture titles HERE. GOOD LUCK in the contest and enjoy another Vintage football weekend!!!

Man, did you see Jeff Driskels performance on Sunday? I mean, I’m just going to say it. I really wish we had Matthew Stafford back. I hope we see some improvement over the next few games.
